Welcome to the Darkfall Tournament
The Darkfall Tournament or DFT for short is an ongoing event held on the EU-1 server in the MMORPG Darkfall Online. DFT is dedicated to provide enjoyable and competitive Player versus Player tournaments. Anyone is free to sign up for the tournaments and the tournaments arranged can vary from simple 1vs1's, 2v2's or whatever the community is most interested in attending. DFT was created by Ninogan Swiftstep & Lillis Slowfoot.
Reception in the community
DFT has been running for close to a year now and has been well recieved by the players as well as the developers, Aventurine. Community Liasions, developers and even the CEO of Aventurine attends and watches the tournaments from the shadows.

Prizes
The prize pot gets split between the first (70%), second (20%) and third place (10%) participants.
Rules
Entry fee: 20,000g per person (2vs2 = 40k, 3vs3 = 60k etc) - Entrance fee cuts of 1k per entry fee (with 1k increases for 2v2, 3v3 etc (1k, 2k, 3k cut) taken by the house.
If you can't attend please let me know as quickly as possible. Frequent cancellations will result in a ban from future tournaments
Best out of 3 and this will include only one mount per 3 rounds. If a player dies while using a mount the opponent can use that mount in the next fight (only against the same opponent) as well as his mount should he still have it. Battlehorns allowed
Only self buffs allowed (in team tournaments your team can't buff you with anything during the fight but they can of course heal you)
Check the tournament thread for gear restrictions. They may vary
Ressurections & Ganking is allowed in team tournaments
If you defeat your opponent you will be allowed to gank him, take his loot and bank it
You can not use pre-surging spells. If this is found out you will be disqualified and banned from the next tournament
The use of the Arcane Magic spell Reflect is not allowed pre-combat but can be used when the fight has started

The
last Darkfall Tournament was amazing with a fantastic turnout and a great 1080p livestream by Apoc Owns! We also had some great item rewards that are completely unique. They look great and congratulations to the winners. Our upcoming tournament will be a 2vs2 where anything goes. Magic, melee & archery. Take your pick and get ready to fight! Introducing the Darkfall Tournament League
I have been running DFT for over a year now and we've had a lot of fun along the way. For awhile now I've wanted to expand and take the darkfall tournament to the next level and now it is time. This is the Darkfall Tournament League, a seasonal and ladder based league for all the fighters in Agon to compete in. For our first test season there will be a 1vs1 where players will be able to challenge each other to fights and try to raise their ladder score. At the end of each season the top 8 ranked people will compete in a tournament and the winner will be that seasons champion and will reap the rewards. Image header by TinyTyke
